One Global Design System, Three Brand Interpretations

As Expedia Group brands establish their specific, distinguished vision for editorial content, we had to make sure we could leverage a global technology stack and consistent component library to efficiently manage and integrate the magazines with the corresponding brand platform. The result is three distinct front-end themes that share functionality and structure while applying and extending their individual brand identities into an elevated publishing experience.

A clearer, more cohesive path from discovery to decision

Across this work, we brought strategy, design, and engineering together to create a clearer, more cohesive experience that supports how people plan and book travel. By aligning the product experience with the brand and focusing on the moments that matter most, we helped simplify complexity and make key journeys easier to navigate. The result is an experience that feels more consistent end to end and better supports users as they move from discovery to decision.

This engagement also established a foundation for continued iteration, with patterns and systems that can scale across surfaces and teams. By grounding decisions in real user needs and translating them into durable design and technical solutions, we improved clarity and usability without losing the richness of the offering. Taken together, the work strengthens the overall experience and sets a direction for ongoing improvement.
