Code and Theory Co-Founder/Co-CEO Dan Gardner sits down with Elyse Southwell, host of NASDAQ's Disruptors series, to talk about what it really means to be "digital first," the difference between communication problems and business challenges, and brands becoming publishers.
"The idea of 'brand as publisher' is critical and obviously necessary," Gardner said. "In the old days of communication advertising, it was pretty easy, you create one thing and message it to many. Now people are connected in many ways and there's an expectation to be more personal, and a brand can deliver more than one message to make that personal connection."
