At Code and Theory, the User Research team (part of our Data, Analytics, Research & Testing team) helps us understand the people we are designing for and marketing to, what motivates them and where well-designed products and campaigns fit into their lifestyles and workflows. We apply a healthy combination of strategic and tactical user research methods including surveys, interviews, usability testing, competitive analysis, concept testing, and cognitive walkthroughs to uncover insights and learn about people, products, and experiences.
Code and Theory’s Researchers support and lead in-depth client-facing user research that ranges in scale and method (both qualitative and quantitative). They have a natural curiosity and passion for design-forward thinking and are eager to utilize research in order to prioritize product and campaign decisions, inform business strategy, gather feedback on design, and improve the overall user experience.
They collaborate closely with all teams, including experience and brand strategists, interaction designers, creatives and analytics. They are fierce advocates for end-users and customers, and find compelling ways to illustrate their research findings through storytelling with clients and internal teams in visual, written, and in-person settings.
