Urbanista Online
Urbanista is an online Rolodex of people, places, and things in New York recommended by Urbanista editors. Urbanista enables site visitors to browse listings by category and subcategory or alphabetically to find the best of the best in New York.
Urbanista approached Code and Theory to help evolve the site from a simple blog into a full-blown directory site. In addition to creating the distinctive Urbanista logo, Code and Theory designed the final site with the chic sensibilities of the Urbanista audience in mind.
I could not be more pleased with the outcome of the site, and I have nothing but positive things to say about working with Code and Theory. They went above and beyond what I expected. I look forward to continuing our relationship with them when we expand the site down the road.
However, at the same time, Code and Theory paid special attention to the formation of the site so that it would evoke a tremendously robust organizational structure with clear functionalities. By building the site on Wordpress, an open-source blogging platform, Code and Theory was able to find an economical solution to deliver the feature set a small growing site was looking for. The Wordpress platform was used at the core of the site and then greatly extended and modified to create a very unique clean and functional experience.
