The Background

Pagaya is a network that uses AI technology to connect credit providers with qualified borrowers. By responsibly expanding access to credit, Pagaya brings more people into the mainstream economy. As a first mover in this space, Pagaya faced challenges explaining their business, technology and benefits.

In 2021, Pagaya approached Code and Theory to reimagine their web presence and better communicate their mission. The primary goal was to improve top-of-funnel conversion. In addition, Pagaya wanted the site to represent the company’s fast-paced, innovative and highly social culture, improving their ability to recruit sought-after engineering and analytics talent in the US and Israel.

The Features

The redesigned site provides a clear explanation of Pagaya’s business and technology, offering accessible ways to contact the brand for more information. We aimed to provide the sales team with more and better-informed leads, streamlining conversations with prospects. A more navigable site also helps capitalize on growing marketing efforts such as conference leadership.

Finally, the design leans into Pagaya’s human-centered approach to AI, using tech to expand financial access and fund the everyday goals and ambitions of a diverse range of customers, particularly those who might have been rejected by traditional lenders.

The Outcome

The result is a website experience that leverages simple navigation and purposeful messaging to help lenders and thought leaders alike quickly understand how Pagaya uses AI and specialized data solutions to enable increased loan approvals. And makes it incredibly easy for interested clients to get in touch.
