Code and Theory teamed up with Goodby, Silverstein & Partners to create an interactive microsite promoting Netflix’s “Down in Front with Dana Carvey." The project promoted the launch of the now-ubiquitous media company's streaming service.. “Down in Front with Dana Carvey", a collection of short comedy sketches in which Dana celebrates some of his favorite movies, was one of the first major projects available via Netflix streaming.
As part of the promotion, Code and Theory worked to design and develop an interactive and animated Flash collage. Users explored images and uncovered hidden animations in the collage. Each section of the collage depicted a specific reference from a popular movie, but was left to the user to decipher.
