We’re excited to announce that Michael Shane has joined Code and Theory as Associate Director of Creative Strategy. Prior to Code and Theory, Michael worked as Global Head of Digital Innovation at Bloomberg where he helped to develop and execute the product, editorial, and business strategies that drove Bloomberg's global digital properties. Michael played a crucial role in turning Bloomberg’s great storytelling into a suite of cohesive, modern digital products.
Michael is passionate about collaborative experimentation across digital environments: prototyping new products, improving internal tools and technology, exploring partnerships, creating advertising that people like, and discovering new revenue streams and business lines. Prior to Bloomberg, Michael worked at Vox Media, where he was part of the team that drove the explosive growth of The Verge.
