Junior Product Manager

Product Management will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate product vision into clear, actionable tasks. This role is responsible for writing user stories, defining jobs to be done, executing the product roadmap & managing the product backlog, and anticipating dependencies and blockers for quick escalation. This role will sit on the Machine team, a non-client-facing team developing enterprise grade AI orchestration platforms and tooling, and is a fantastic way to kickstart a career as an AI-capable product manager.

What You’ll Do

  • Own product execution for a functional development team within the Machine, our enterprise AI orchestration platform
  • Work closely with data science, back end and data engineering, and QA to streamline data ingestion and integrations
  • Collaborate with internal and stakeholder teams to drive product development and execution
  • Work with global teams to translate product vision into user stories and jobs to be done
  • Engage with client-facing teams to understand client needs and communicate product strategies
  • Manage the product backlog to align with project goals and stakeholder expectations
  • Serve as the main contact for product-related inquiries from internal teams and stakeholders
  • Leverage data analytics (A/B testing, user behavior) to inform product decisions and optimizations
  • Apply customer-centric design practices (user research, testing, journey mapping) for intuitive experiences
  • Execute on product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with stakeholder goals and business priorities
  • Participate in product discovery sessions to define requirements based on user needs and business goals
  • Write clear user stories with defined acceptance criteria and prioritize the backlog
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, stand-ups, reviews) ensuring clarity and feasibility
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams, addressing blockers and ensuring smooth communication
  • Interest in prototyping tools like V0 or similar, with a willingness to explore and implement new tools that enhance product development

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and client services
  • Hands-on experience writing user stories, managing backlogs, and sprint execution
  • Experience with Agile principles and values, and frameworks including Scrum and Kanban
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience managing both stakeholders and internal teams
  • Ability to manage and balance short-term client needs with long-term strategic product goal

Nice To Have

  • Experience in digital product development in industries like media & publishing, financial services, or e-commerc

The target base compensation for this role is $64,500 - 70,000 Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
