Hitachi True Stories

Code and Theory was approached by Hitachi via McCann World Wide to create a Flash site that would serve as a home for the Hitachi True Stories videos. Hitachi is a multinational consumer and industrial products company whose goal in this project was to express personal stories within the larger framework of a corporation. The True Stories videos are a series of short films depicting how various divisions within Hitachi integrate with communities and go about developing products from personal employee perspectives.

The project provided Code and Theory with a unique opportunity to create an elegant platform for displaying Hitachi’s content. The site immerses the visitor in the True Stories experience via a clean expansive design featuring striking photographs and videos. The design and interaction are clear and allow the user to navigate through the site smoothly.
