Code and Theory Work Recognized in Digiday Publishing Awards

NEW YORK — Code and Theory’s work with Bloomberg and The Webby Awards has been recognized across four categories in the 2015 Digiday Publishing Awards, announced Tuesday:

BLOOMBERG POLITICS

Bloomberg Politics, launched in October 2014, was the first of Bloomberg’s entirely new generation of digitally-led, multi-platform brands. The site is a finalist in the Best New Publisher category and Best Publishing Site Design category, alongside Quartz and Guardian News & Media. It is also a finalist in the Best Publishing Innovation in Advertising category, for its toolkit of custom ad integrations that connect a user’s scrolling behavior to the animation within the ad.

THE WEBBY AWARDS

The new webbyawards.com was named a finalist for Best New Publishing Brand alongside Angie’s List Weekly and Contently’s “The ContentStrategist” blog. Launched in November 2014, the modular design of the new Webbys website enables staff members a much easier way to publish new material, and surface and repackage existing content from its extensive archive of the Internet’s history, culture and curiosities.
